The Gift of Time

This weekend in celebration of Father's day I gave the gift of time.  Family time spent together and used well.  What a splendid weekend.  We went kayaking and had a picnic lunch on Saturday.

There is ALWAYS something to be thankful for.

Saturday night was spent at the drive-in with friends.  We went with three families in our neighborhood. So nice when good neighbors become great friends.  What simple fun we had that evening.  Many rules at the drive-in movie theater, one of which did not allow pictures to be taken on the premises.  

On Sunday after church we headed up to Pennsylvania to visit Michael's parents and go fishing.  What a beautiful day for outdoor activities.

"Are you hungry?'  "Yes, I'm hungry"  "Let's try pizza at Jo Jo's"  "OK"  

They had gluten-free pizza - YAH!!!!  So I ate pizza for the first time in almost a year.  

YUM - it was good.  Tastes just like the thin pizza crust from that place with the red hut.
